Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality food and beverage service. You will be responsible for ensuring that each guest feels welcomed, valued, and satisfied throughout their dining experience.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including specials and promotions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and respond to any requests or concerns promptly.
- Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures and cash register systems.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Uphold restaurant policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
Skills
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food service operations within a nightclub or similar setting is advantageous.
- Proficient in cash handling practices and experience with cash registers.
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation processes is a plus.
