Assistant Production Supervisor
(Third Shift 9:30pm to 6:00am)
Primary Function:
The Assistant Production Supervisor is responsible for supporting department supervisors with daily production needs to help meet customer product demand.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor the hourly workforce to achieve production efficiencies.
- Validates parts meet quality standards any time a new operator is assigned to a job.
- Develops, tracks, and reports on daily key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Effectively communicate the daily goals and production performance.
- Communicate expectations to employees and evaluate employee performance.
- Works with leadership to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Thorough understanding of problem-solving methodologies (root cause analysis, etc.)
