Job Overview

Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements using OpenTable or similar reservation systems
- Take accurate orders and relay them efficiently to the kitchen using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, upsell specials and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Ensure food safety and proper handling procedures are followed during food preparation and serving
- Buss tables efficiently, clear dishes, and assist with maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep or bussing as needed in a fast-paced environment
- Uphold sanitation standards by adhering to health regulations and proper food handling practices
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Knowledge of reservation management tools like OpenTable is advantageous
- Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently during busy hours
- Prior host/hostess or serving experience is desirable for seamless guest interactions
