Job Title: Tech Lead – Network Integration & Mission Operations Location: Sterling, VA Clearance: TS/SCI Poly Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our on-premise multi-tenant data center environment. This role will serve as the primary technical point of contact for issues ranging from Tier 1 to Tier 3 support, providing leadership, direction, and hands-on expertise across multiple infrastructure and operational platforms. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable on-premise multi-tenant data center environments. Act as the lead technical authority and subject matter expert for technical escalations and critical issue resolution (Tier 1–3). Drive the implementation of virtualization and automation solutions to improve IT service delivery. Develop strategic roadmaps for operational systems and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance of IT systems. Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field OR 4 years of equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. A minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership role. Proven expertise in software virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Demonstrated experience in strategic IT planning, roadmap development, and execution for enterprise operational systems. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Demonstrated expertise in supporting mission-critical systems and platforms. Strong track record of driving IT process improvements through automation. Experience with a combination of on-premise data centers, cloud computing services (e.g., AWS, Azure), and edge computing architectures. Demonstrated experience with on-premise data centers, cloud services, and edge computing. Demonstrated experience in IT process improvement through software automation process. Desired Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
