Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Janitorial Worker to join our team with a start time at 5 pm. This role requires a valid driver’s license to ensure timely access to various job sites. As a key member of our cleaning crew, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety across commercial and residential facilities, ensuring a pristine environment for clients and staff alike.
Duties
- Perform detailed cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Utilize custodial equipment and cleaning supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects and facilities maintenance as needed
- Support residential painting projects by preparing surfaces and maintaining work areas
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, offices, and other designated spaces
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed promptly and thoroughly during scheduled shifts
Qualifications
- Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning roles preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively
- Valid driver’s license is required for site access and transportation purposes
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
