Overview
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Daytime Janitorial Cleaner to join our team. This role starts at 8 am and requires a valid driver’s license to ensure timely access to various client sites. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial and residential spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors to maintain a pristine appearance
- Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently to ensure high standards of cleanliness
- Assist with custodial tasks related to facilities maintenance and light repairs as needed
- Follow established safety protocols and cleaning procedures to promote a safe work environment
- Maintain supplies inventory and notify management when stock levels are low
- Support industrial cleaning projects or porter duties when required
Experience
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in commercial or industrial settings
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
- Experience with general facilities maintenance or porter responsibilities is a plus
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers and extractors safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety standards
