Job Title: Unarmed Customer Facing Security Guard
Schedule: 4-5 days per week, day and evening shifts available
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and observant Unarmed Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment. In this role, you will monitor premises, manage access points, and respond promptly to incidents while providing a visible presence that deters threats and promotes safety. This position requires strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrive to work on time and ready to work
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security
- Control access points
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies
- Write detailed incident reports
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and emergency services when necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous security experience preferred but not required if licensed with DPSST
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
Requirements:
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Oregon DPSST Unarmed Certification
- Must be able to maintain consistent availability
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Ability to stay alert and attentive
- Ability to pass a background check (and drug screening, if applicable)
- Ability to reliably commute to 97204 and arrive to work on time.
Pay: $19.50 - $21.50 per hour
License/Certification:
