Job Title: Armed Retail Security Guard
Schedule: 4-5 days per week, day and evening shifts

In this role, you will monitor premises, manage access points, respond promptly to incidents, while providing a visible presence that deters threats and promotes safety. This position requires strong attention to detail and sound judgment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Arrive to work on time and ready to work
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security
- Control access points
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies
- Write detailed incident reports
- Ability to use a phone and mobile apps for clocking in, communications, and reports.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and emergency services when necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous security experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
Requirements:
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Oregon DPSST Armed Certification
- Must have consistent availability
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Ability to stay alert and attentive
- Ability to pass a background check (and drug screening, if applicable)
- Valid driver’s license
Pay: $25.00 per hour
License/Certification:
- Armed Security License (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Portland, OR (Required)
