Activities Assistant
(Up to 30 hrs per week. Day into evening hours. Weekends required)

Join our dynamic team at Nightingale Nursing and Rehab Center as an Activities Assistant and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our senior residents. As a compassionate and energetic individual, you will help plan and lead engaging programs that foster social interaction, independence, and enjoyment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, organizing, and conducting recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities
- Encourage resident participation and engagement in daily programs
- Lead group activities, games, crafts, exercise programs, holiday celebrations, and special events
- Assist residents to and from activities as needed
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
- Help decorate for holidays, special events, and seasonal celebrations
- Maintain activity supplies and assist with program setup and cleanup
- Document resident attendance and participation as required
- Support the Activities Director with departmental goals and programming initiatives
Qualifications:
- Previous activities experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, senior living, or healthcare setting preferred
- Compassionate and resident-focused attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work some evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
