The Woods at Monticello is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and resident-focused
Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. As a Full-Time PTA, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced therapists in helping residents regain strength, improve mobility, and achieve their highest level of independence.
What You'll Do
- Provide physical therapy treatments and interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist residents in improving mobility, balance, strength, and functional independence
- Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team
- Accurately document treatments, resident responses, and progress toward goals
- Educate residents and families regarding therapy programs and mobility techniques
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards of practice
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment that supports resident success and quality of life
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current PTA license in the State of Arkansas or eligible for licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings preferred, but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
