What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant to a Digital Creator position at Night?
We're looking for a creative assistant to join the team behind a NYC-based fashion and lifestyle creator. You'd be working directly with this creator on shoots, hands-on creative projects, and miscellaneous personal tasks.
We want someone with a great eye, strong instincts, and the ability to anticipate problems before they happen. No formal fashion training required! Just creativity and a proactive mindset.
What you'll do:
Hours vary depending on the season (anywhere from 4 to 30 hours per week). We're looking for someone who can be flexible when things get busy and is genuinely excited to be hands-on across a variety of projects.

What you'll do:
- Coordinate shoots and campaigns end-to-end. Finding and booking studios, photographers, videographers, sourcing fabrics and materials, props, and equipment, and anything else needed to bring a project to life
- Assist with hands-on creative work and styling. No formal fashion training needed, as long as you can follow a YouTube tutorial you’ll be fine!
- Spot potential issues before they become problems and come prepared with solutions
- Bring your own creative ideas to the table, we want someone who loves to contribute, not just execute
- Brainstorm and collaborate on video concepts and creative direction
- You have a natural creative eye and genuine interest in fashion and visual storytelling
- You love to DIY / are always down for an arts and crafts project
- You're proactive and resourceful, you figure things out without being asked
- You communicate clearly and aren't afraid to speak up when something's off
- You're adaptable and thrive in a fast-moving, hands-on environment
- Bonus points for any content creation experience, but not required
