Job Overview
As an Expediter at Nifty Fifty’s, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality and appearance of our food to ensure our guests receive the best dining experience. In addition to managing food quality, you will be tasked with cooking all fried items. Your efforts contribute significantly to the overall meal experience of our guests. You will work diligently to provide outstanding customer service, making our valued customers feel like part of our Nifty’s family.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Prep, set up, and work the expo station
- Maintain product presentation, quality, and cook time standards
- Orchestrate serving food orders from each area of the kitchen to best serve customers
- Practice sanitary and safe food handling in accordance to the state board of health
- Clean and sanitize the work area throughout the shift
- Instruct available servers to deliver completed food orders
- Maintains a clean and sanitized station
- Prepared and cook fried foods
- Clean, strain or change, and dispose of oil for fryers
- Cleaning and changing fryers
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects
- Other additional tasks management may need assistance with
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to place items on high and low shelves
- Ability to stand for long periods of times
- Capable of using knives, slicing equipment, fryers, and other preparation materials
- Organization skills
- Carry objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to wipe high and low shelves, pick up debris off the floor, sweep floor in station.
