General Purpose

Ensure all trucks and trailers are washed in a timely manner in accordance with all Bio-security procedures and guidelines. Involves working in wet conditions while bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting and climbing in and out of trailers repeatedly.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Washes, sanitizes, and disinfects trucks and trailers in accordance with company biosecurity, sanitation, and animal health protocols.
• Properly operates, cleans, maintains, and stores washing and sanitation equipment to ensure safe, effective, and compliant use.
• Maintains strict site biosecurity standards to prevent disease transmission and protect animal health.
• Completes required daily biosecurity inspection sheets, wash logs, and related documentation accurately and on time to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manages inventory of wood chips, cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, PPE, and related sanitation supplies, including monitoring usage levels, notifying leadership of low inventory, and assisting with restocking as directed.
• Complies with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines as directed by farm and operations leadership.
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability, adjusting work plans and priorities based on operational needs and leadership direction.
• Works collaboratively as a team member to meet daily departmental responsibilities and overall farm goals.
• Assists with general facility, yard, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and company environmental procedures.
• Immediately reports any environmental concerns, spills, or compliance issues to the supervisor.
• Reads, understands, and follows the company’s emergency notification and response procedures as applicable to the worksite.
• Understands and complies with all job-specific safety requirements, performing all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to do hard physical labor.
• Strong commitment to team work.
• Ability to follow instructions and deal with standardized situations.

Physical Requirements:

Position requires a minimum lifting ability of 50 lbs. Ideal candidates will be dependable, able to learn new tasks and follow directions, and work with minimal supervision. Position requires strong attention to detail.
