Contract Recruiter – Hybrid Melville, NY
The ideal candidate will have strong social and leadership skills, experienced negotiating strategies and excellent organizational abilities. He/she should be familiar with developing recruitment marketing strategies that effectively attract and retain top talent. 3-6 month contract with potential to go permanent.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the recruiting of all positions companywide.
- Manage full life cycle of the recruitment process. Work with leadership to understand the hiring needs of the organization.
- Draft and create job descriptions as needed. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand team needs and facilitate candidate lifecycle processes.
- Strong understanding of recruiting for technology-based roles.
Required Skills, Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in full cycle recruiting.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (JazzHR). Comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.
- Knowledge of HR federal laws and regulations.
