Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Perform quality audits to verify compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and other applicable standards.
- Utilize data collection techniques to document inspection results accurately and analyze trends for continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols, including HACCP, CGMP, and other industry-specific regulations.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, non-conformances, and corrective actions in accordance with quality management systems.
- Support calibration activities for precision measuring instruments to guarantee measurement accuracy across all inspection processes.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably involving medical devices or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, HACCP, CGMP, and FDA regulations.
- Hands-on experience operating calibration tools like calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Strong analysis skills to interpret inspection data and identify process improvements.
- Knowledge of quality management principles, including QA/QC procedures and conducting internal or external quality audits.
