Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Meat cutter with experience in the field. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality, expertly prepared meat products. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety standards, and excellent customer service skills. These are all skills that can be taught in house through training, so Experience is not required.
Duties
- Skillfully carve and prepare various types of meat for display and sale.
- Ensure all meat products are packaged correctly and presented attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and offering recommendations on meat products.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team player, working well with other to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Many other day to day responsibilities.
Experience is NOT required
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant or culinary setting, is preferred.
- Proficiency in meat cutting techniques and knowledge of various cuts of meat is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential.
- Strong knife skills and the ability to handle kitchen equipment safely.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- A passion for food preparation and a commitment to quality.
