The Opportunity
Nick’s Menswear is hiring a bilingual (English/Spanish) Retail Sales Advisor / Professional Stylist for our Arizona Mills location in Tempe!
We're looking for an outgoing, professional, people-oriented individual who wants to build a rewarding career in consultative sales.
This is not a typical retail job. Our customers come to us for important moments—weddings, interviews, promotions, and milestone events—and rely on their stylist for honest, knowledgeable guidance.
Menswear experience is NOT required. We'll train you in fit, fabric, tailoring, styling, and custom clothing. What matters most is your ability to connect with people, build trust, and deliver exceptional service.
What You'll Do
- Help customers select clothing, develop their style, and find the right fit
- Provide personalized, consultative sales and styling guidance
- Build lasting relationships and a loyal base of repeat customers
- Learn the fundamentals of menswear, tailoring, and custom clothing
- Follow Nick's proven sales and customer service process
- Confidently assist customers in both English and Spanish
What We're Looking For
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is REQUIRED
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Outgoing, confident, professional personality
- Strong listening skills and a genuine interest in helping people
- Coachability, dependability, and a willingness to learn
- Motivation to grow professionally and financially
- Comfort working in a team-oriented, performance-driven environment
Experience in hospitality, fine dining, automotive or jewelry sales, specialty retail, or other customer-facing environments is a plus, but not required.
Compensation & Earning Potential
- Base pay: $16.50–$18.00/hour
- Commission: 5% on floor sales; 10% on custom and made-to-measure
- First-year earnings: Typically $48,000–$65,000
- Established stylists: Typically $70,000–$95,000
- Top performers: $100,000
- Uncapped earning potential based on performance
