The DeMaio Agency is expanding and seeking a high-energy, sales-driven Life & Health Specialist who thrives in a competitive environment. This role is ideal for a motivated producer who is passionate about helping clients protect their families while building a strong, recurring income stream.
You will focus heavily on Life & Health sales, but must also be fully licensed (or willing to become licensed) in both Property & Casualty AND Life & Health. If you are missing one of these licenses, we will support you through the licensing process.
Role Overview
As a Life & Health Specialist, you will actively market and sell insurance products to both new prospects and existing clients. Your ability to present solutions, build relationships, and close business will directly drive agency growth and your own earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct needs-based assessments to identify coverage gaps and present tailored solutions
- Confidently explain policy features, benefits, and exclusions
- Provide support with applications, policy changes, claims questions, and follow-up
- Nurture long-term relationships that generate referrals and repeat business
- Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and carrier regulations
- Stay informed on new products, underwriting changes, and industry trends
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses

- Demonstrated success in sales—life insurance sales experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to simplify complex insurance concepts for clients
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Experience with insurance agency software is helpful
