Duties
- Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload shipments from trucks, containers, or storage areas while adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying inventory counts and ensuring proper documentation
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records promptly
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical safety and report any maintenance needs
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials for storage or dispatch in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including order picking, shipping & receiving, and materials handling
- Valid forklift certification with demonstrated heavy equipment operation skills
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse environments
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks
- Experience with RF scanners, warehouse management systems, and construction-related heavy lifting tools such as pallet jacks and clamp trucks
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and inventory control procedures
- Prior experience in warehouse r roles or leadership positions is a plus but not required
