What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intermediate / Advanced Architect position at Nicholas L Faustini Architect PC?
Nicholas L. Faustini Architect PC, a small residential and commercial architectural firm located in Westchester County, NY is looking for an experienced Architect to assist in the production of existing condition drawings and construction documents and manage junior associates.
The candidate will work under the supervision of the Principal and with Associate Architects to produce complete working drawings/ construction documents from start to finish with minimal supervision in a timely manner. Duties will include visiting residential and commercial properties to take field measurements and prepare AutoCAD architectural drawings for a variety of small to midsize residential and commercial projects.
The candidate will demonstrate basic knowledge of codes and regulations including State Building Codes and ADA guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor or Master Degree of Architecture required.
5 years architectural work experience
Excellent drafting skills and expertise in AutoCAD.
Experience producing architectural drawings and details.
Ability to produce complete working construction drawings/documents from start to finish with minimal supervision in a timely manner
Problem solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Benefits
Salary and benefits commensurate with experience. This position includes the opportunity to work mainly from home with 1-2 days of weekly onsite project work.
