Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Fishers, IN. The Interior Designer will directly support a lead interior designer to collaborate with clients, project managers, and the construction team to translate client goals into cohesive design concepts and detailed plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client consultations, developing space plans, selecting materials and finishes, and preparing presentations that clearly communicate design intent. The Interior Designer will visit job sites to verify conditions, support design-related problem solving during construction, and help maintain a consistent, high-quality client experience throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design skills, including concept development, material and finish selection, and residential remodeling experience.
- Proficiency in Space Planning to create functional, code-compliant layouts that enhance how clients use their homes.
- Proficiency with cabinetry ordering.
- Proficiency with design and drafting software (Chief Architect), and other tools (2020, Buildertrend, Microsoft Teams, etc).
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive, relationship-focused culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
