The In-House Legal Counsel should be a diplomatic and self-directed problem-solver with the ability to think critically and outside of the box to advance shifting priorities. Competitive candidates will have experience with employment law, civil litigation, regulatory matters, intellectual property, complex commercial contracts, all varieties of warranty matters, managing outside counsel, as well as experience with personnel management. Additionally, In-House Legal Counsel is expected to act as a business partner providing legal guidance to executive leadership and departments to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Excellent communication skills, including extensive legal research and writing and concise presentations of legal issues to executive level personnel, are required.
