Senior Preconstruction Manager
Location: New York, NY
Salary: $160,000 – $200,000

We are partnered with a leading ENR Top 100 General Contractor with a strong presence across New York. This firm has built a reputation for delivering complex, high-value projects across commercial, interiors, and mixed-use sectors.
They are continuing to invest heavily in their preconstruction function and are looking to add a Senior Preconstruction Manager to support growth and lead from the front.

Responsibilities:
- Lead preconstruction across multiple projects simultaneously
- Manage the full lifecycle from early design through GMP and final bid
- Develop detailed budgets, cost plans, and value engineering strategies
- Present to clients, owners, and design teams during pursuits and delivery
- Lead and mentor a team of preconstruction professionals
- Oversee subcontractor bidding, leveling, and procurement strategy
- Partner with operations to ensure seamless transition into construction
- Analyze market conditions, escalation, and cost drivers to inform pricing
Requirements:
- 7 years of commercial construction experience
- Proven experience leading preconstruction on complex projects
- Strong leadership experience managing and developing teams
- Deep understanding of building systems, drawings, and specifications
- Experience with conceptual estimating through final bidding
- Strong client-facing and presentation skills
- Proficiency in OST, Bluebeam, and Excel
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
