What are the responsibilities and job description for the 6th - 12th ELA Tutor position at Niceville Tutoring LLC?
We are a quickly growing tutoring company based in Niceville, FL focused on tutoring local students, in person, from Kindergarten to 12th grade. We offer general education subjects, ESE support, and college entrance test prep. Tutoring is done in person and typically at the local library, but sessions can also be held at a private home at the tutor’s discretion. We are looking for candidates who are skilled, upbeat, and ready for a challenge to meet each child where they are on their academic journey.
We are looking for a dedicated ELA Tutor to provide personalized tutoring in various ELA classes 6th Grade-12th Grade. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of ELA and be effective at teaching students at all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 instruction to students.
- Manage Scheduling with families
- Maintain a Google calendar
- Manage any needed preparation for session
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certificate or relevant tutoring experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
