Responsibilities
- Complete painting projects in a timely and efficient manner.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including drywall, walls, and ceilings.
- Install fixtures, such as molding, trim, and doors.
- Perform carpentry tasks, including frame carpentry and installation of doors and windows.
- Repair and restore damaged or worn-out surfaces.
- Use caulking to seal joints and ensure a smooth finish.
- Conduct construction painting, including applying coatings and finishes.
- Estimate construction costs and materials needed for painting projects.
- Work with a variety of materials, including paints, stains, and sealers.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety guidelines and regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting, drywall, and masonry.
- Strong carpentry skills, including frame carpentry and fixture installation.
- Experience with restoration and repair projects.
- Familiarity with construction estimating and cost management.
- A commitment to safety and a willingness to follow safety guidelines and regulations.
- Physical stamina to lift and move materials and equipment.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Excellent attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
