Retail Sales & Gift Specialist

Nibbles & Bits is a gourmet chocolate and gift shop located in Dunmore, Pennsylvania. We're looking to add an experienced, creative, and dependable team member to our retail sales team.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with customers, has an eye for presentation and detail, and thrives in a busy, hands-on environment. Our team does much more than ring a register...you'll help customers create beautiful gifts, prepare orders, maintain our storefront, and make sure every customer receives the level of service Nibbles & Bits is known for.
Sweet Job Duties
- Work one-on-one with customers to create thoughtful, beautifully presented gifts.
- Assist customers in person and over the phone with product selections and orders.
- Print, organize, and prepare online orders.
- Wrap, package, and finish gifts according to our presentation standards.
- Restock merchandise and maintain organized product displays.
- Perform light cleaning and help keep the storefront and work areas neat and welcoming.
- Manage multiple customers and orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work with a sense of urgency.
Sweet Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of retail or customer service experience required.
- Must be able to make a simple bow and be comfortable learning our gift-wrapping techniques.
- Friendly, upbeat, professional, and comfortable interacting with customers.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to take direction and learn.
- Creative and detail-oriented with a strong eye for presentation.
- Strong multitasking, organization, and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and standing for extended periods.
- Must be available to work some evenings and weekends during holiday seasons and special events.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Availability
Regular Schedule:
Monday–Friday: 12:00 PM–6:00 PM
Opportunity for Full-Time:
This position will begin as part-time, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role based on performance, availability, and business needs.
Holiday Season:
Hours may increase during our busiest seasons. Additional evening and weekend availability may be required.
