Assistant Program Director

Job Description:
- The Assistant Program Director is responsible for assisting in supervising staff, managing program operations, policies and administrative tasks associated with the daily operations of an after-school program.
*Tasks/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Program Operations and Policies
- Fulfill Program Director’s duties when Program Director is not present
- Complete all tasks as assigned as needed to accomplish NIA goals
- Assist in supervising program procedures
- Attendance
- Snack
- Transition periods
- Dismissal
- Assist in supervising staff
- Observe daily procedures and activities
- Administrative Tasks
- Maintain Employee files and attendance records
- Assist Program Director with consistent communication with line staff
- Assist with completion/submission of Material Request Forms for office and program supplies
- Assist with completion of monthly payroll
- Enter participant data into computer and online databases
- Maintain current participant data in all files and databases
- Professional Development
- Complete and provide documentation of a minimum of 16 hours of professional development every two years
- Attend on-site staff meetings
- Attend NIA organization events and meetings, as directed throughout the program year
