Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Ayrshire Urgent Care Service (AUCS) for motivated and proactive Operational Facilitators.

This role provides an essential point of coordination within the service. You will act as the single point of contact for all incoming telephone enquiries, including calls from District Nursing, Social Work, professionaltoprofessional clinical teams, and other internal partners. You will ensure that calls are handled efficiently, directed to the correct pathway, and managed in line with service processes and priorities.

As an Operational Facilitator, you will support the delivery of a timely and effective appointment system and assist with the coordination of home visits. Working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues, you will provide dependable operational support and contribute to the smooth daytoday running of AUCS. This post is offered on a permanent basis..

Hours

Post 1: 15 hours per week

Post 2: 10.11 hours per week

Post 3: 22.28 hours per week

Post 4: 7.50 hours per week

Please indicate on your application which post you wish to be considered for. These posts involve a variety of shifts covering a 24hour period, seven days a week, including public holidays. Applicants must be willing to work across all three of our Primary Care Treatment Centres: Ayrshire Central, Ayr Hospital, and Crosshouse Hospital.

UK Driving Licence

A UK driving licence is essential for this role.

You will have good organisational and communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a busy team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can contribute positively to the daytoday running of the service.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required For This Post

You should be educated to SVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or have equivalent relevant experience. The post holder must be able to work well under pressure and maintain accuracy while delivering a high standard of support.
