🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and implement ongoing educational programs for nursing and support staff
- Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding
- Evaluate staff competencies and coordinate in-service training programs
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility standards
- Support infection control and quality assurance initiatives
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff
- Assist with maintaining education records and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify training opportunities and performance improvement initiatives
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing strongly preferred
- Previous Staff Development experience preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience required
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to coordinate training programs and staff education initiatives
- Ability to analyze reports and utilize data effectively
- Passion for mentoring and developing nursing teams
