🩺 What You'll Do
As an Evening Shift Registered Nurse, you'll provide and coordinate resident care while helping ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and respond appropriately
- Communicate significant changes to physicians, nursing leadership, and other clinical team members
- Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation
- Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and changes in resident condition
- Provide guidance and supervision to LPNs and CNAs as appropriate
- Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
- Respond to resident needs and concerns with professionalism and compassion
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory compliance procedures
- Promote resident dignity, comfort, independence, and quality of life
- Support effective shift-to-shift communication and continuity of nursing services
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to changes in resident condition
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Strong organization, time-management, and clinical decision-making abilities
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented approach to nursing
- Ability to work effectively and independently during night shift
