As an RN Charge Nurse, you'll provide direct nursing care, supervise nursing staff, and help ensure our skilled nursing and rehabilitation residents receive quality, compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and oversee resident care during the shift.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Assess residents and promptly respond to changes in condition.
- Supervise, support, and provide guidance to LPNs and CNAs.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
- Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing – REQUIRED.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute care experience preferred.
- Charge Nurse or nursing leadership experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and leadership skills.
