Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage company-operated security systems (e.g., network, endpoint, and data protection tools)
- Configure, tune, and maintain SIEM pipelines, correlation rules, alerts, and dashboards.
- Monitor internal and external threats, perform intrusion detection, and execute initial incident response activities
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments across systems, networks, applications, cloud environments, and endpoint devices, and assist with deploying security patches
- Perform cloud security operations, including IAM reviews, configuration checks, and continuous monitoring in AWS and Microsoft environments
- Help ensure compliance with CIS Controls, ISO/IEC 27001, and basic privacy regulations
- Develop and deliver security awareness training to promote a security-conscious culture within the organization
- Research emerging threats and propose improvements for tools and processes
- Participate in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and technical risk evaluations
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years(Security Administrator) and or 2-3 years(Security Engineer) of hands-on experience in information security, IT, or related fields
- Experience in network, server, cloud, and endpoint security operations
- Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, WAF, EDR or other security tools
- Basic experience in security incident response, vulnerability management, and patch deployment
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate technical security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards like CIS Controls, ISO/IEC 27001, or NIST
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools or SIEM platforms
- Experience in endpoint security management, patching processes, or malware analysis
- Scripting or automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to support security operations
- Experience building or operating open-source security platforms
- Experience participating in internal audits or compliance reviews
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security , CEH, AWS Security Specialty, Certified in Cybersecurity)
- Ability to communicate in both English and Korean (written and verbal)
Pay range
The pay range for Security Administrator position in Los Angeles, CA is $70,000 - $85,000 (yr).
And the Security Engineer position is $80,000 - $100,000 (yr).
We maintain salary ranges for each role to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and location, as well as to reflect comparable experience across our industry and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed within these ranges based on the aforementioned factors and internal peer equity.
