Osage Beach Center for Behavioral Health – Are you a passionate Leader looking to join a team to improve behavioral health in your community? We would like for you to consider our Social Worker opportunity for our hospital and carry out our vision of bringing communities, healthcare providers, and families together to improve behavioral health, one patient at a time. We are an 18-bed psychiatric hospital and we provide care to all adult patients who require inpatient hospitalization due to mental disorders like cognitive illnesses.
As Social Worker, you will be instrumental in effectively providing quality patient care, displaying advanced skills in social assessments, treatment planning and discharge planning. The Social Worker will lead Primary Treatment Modalities, Group, Family and Individual Therapies. As a multi-disciplinary team member, he/she is expected to participate in community outreach programs, host-facility relationships and education.
Qualifications:
A. Education
1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of social work; or
2. Member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers.
B. Training
1. Documented training related to the primary population served within the past year.
2. Eligible and acceptable to meet the expectations of the Hospital.
C. Experience: At least one (1) year experience in an acute behavioral health setting preferred.
