Summary
At nfm, an Account Manager acts as the main point of contact for all client requests. The Account Manager ensures the client's vision and goals are reflected in project deliverables and reviews all client-facing documents with the appropriate agency personnel. He or she handles all external meetings, calls, and emails, as well as tracks budgets throughout the life-cycle of campaigns/projects and handles client invoicing. This position owns the client relationship/all related projects and manages the entire internal/external team from the initiation of a campaign/project through execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Writes and distributes project briefs and engages appropriate team members at the appropriate time.
- Works closely with the Account Director to manage clients' marketing, advertising strategies and experiential/events activations on both a project and campaign basis.
- Interacts with clients on a day-to-day basis, and acts as agency liaison.
- Promotes the expansion of new business opportunities with existing clients.
- Works with other agency personnel to generate leads to acquire new accounts.
- Works with agency creative director, production manager and/or digital marketing strategist to develop budget estimates and campaign timelines.
- Completes campaign/projects/events to a specific schedule and within an agreed-upon budget.
- Uses skills and experience to elevate clients and agency personnel creatively and strategically.
- Enhances the department and agency by accepting ownership of and accomplishing new and different business goals, objectives, and practices.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Accurate and on-time tracking of expenses and project hours
Qualifications
- 5 years of professional agency experience in client and campaign management
- Client relationship/vendor relationship
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Travel in/around the PGH region, as well as in other markets such as OH, WV, MD, VA, DE, and/or NC
