Summary
We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our growing team — someone who thrives in a fast-paced, retail-focused environment and is passionate about helping brands deliver memorable customer experiences.
As an Account Manager at nfm, you’ll be the primary point of contact for our retail-focused clients, managing relationships, campaigns, and activations from start to finish. You’ll translate client goals into actionable strategies, oversee internal and external teams, and ensure deliverables are on Ame, on brand, and on budget.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in convenience stores, grocery, or specialty QSR and MTO beverage brands who understands the unique dynamics of multi-unit retail market and can adapt quickly to shifting trends, competitive pressures, and consumer behaviors.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main client liaison, leading day-to-day communications and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Develop project briefs and activate the right agency team members at the right time to ensure
- seamless execution.
- Partner closely with the Account Director to manage integrated marketing, digital, and experiential
- strategies.
- Oversee campaign planning, creative development, production, and activation from concept through completion.
- Collaborate with creative, production, and digital teams to build budgets, timelines, and deliverable plans.
- Track project performance, budgets, and invoicing to ensure accuracy and transparency throughout each engagement.
- Leverage insights and data to optimize strategies and drive measurable results.
- Identify new business opportunities with existing and potential clients, and contribute to overall agency growth initiatives.
- Stay ahead of emerging retail and c-store trends, ensuring strategies remain relevant and competitive.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures, including accurate Amely tracking of expenses and project hours.
Qualifications
• 5 years of professional experience in account or client management at an agency or in-house
marketing team.
• Retail, c-store, QSR, or grocery marketing experience strongly preferred — especially multi-unit or
regional brand work.
• Proven ability to manage integrated campaigns (digital, experiential, in-store, and promotional).
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data-driven marketing strategies.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management tools.
• Ability to travel within the Pittsburgh region and to surrounding markets, including, but not limited to
OH, WV, MD, VA, DE, TN, IL, and NC.
