Position Summary:
We are looking for a passionate, customer-focused Account Manager to join our Commercial and National Account team at Guardian. This role serves as the primary point of contact for our customers, building strong, long-term relationships with key business executives and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will champion the customer’s success—proactively understanding their business goals, ensuring they receive maximum value from Guardian’s solutions, and coordinating internally so their needs are clearly understood and consistently met. This position will be an integral partner in resolving issues, preventing future problems, and driving a positive, outcome-based customer experience. Ultimately, this role will help us build meaningful, long-lasting relationships that strengthen retention, deepen engagement, and move our business forward.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial and national accounts, owning the overall customer relationship and experience
- Develop a deep understanding of each customer’s business, security needs, and long-term objectives to align Guardian solutions with their goals
- Build detailed knowledge of the commercial/national account lifecycle, including new account creation, billing, accounts receivable, and service processes
- Own and coordinate all required paperwork, communication, and scheduling for commercial/national reactivations, upgrades, and name/entity changes
- Maintain a regular, proactive cadence of communication (check-ins, business reviews, update calls) with top commercial/national key contacts
- Act as the primary commercial/national point of contact for account maintenance activities and for Edge Pro and Alarm.com Commercial Enterprise training with new or existing end users
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Service, Operations, Billing, Monitoring, and IT) to ensure timely, accurate fulfillment of customer requests and commitments
- Collect, track, and analyze customer feedback and behavior to identify trends, anticipate needs, and recommend improvements to enhance customer outcomes
- Act as the voice of the customer within Guardian, advocating for their needs and helping to shape a consistently positive, frictionless customer experience
- Support retention and growth efforts by identifying risks, resolving issues quickly, and uncovering opportunities to expand value for the customer
