What are the responsibilities and job description for the Classroom Counselor - Turning Points School position at NFI Vermont, Inc.?
The Turning Points School, administered by NFI Vermont, is a trauma-informed choice and day treatment school. We are looking for a full-time classroom counselor. The position requires providing academic as well as social/emotional/behavioral support in the classroom. The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable, able to work in a team, interested in learning through feedback, and experienced and comfortable with adolescents who benefit from alternative learning experiences. Knowledge about PBIS and restorative approaches are a plus.
