NFI North, a Non-Profit Human Services Agency providing services to children, youth, adults and families throughout New Hampshire and Maine is seeking a full time Accounts Payable Coordinator for our Contoocook, NH office.

The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with full task loads/high volume as well as strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Excel proficiency at an intermediate level required. Experience with Great Plains and a minimum of an Associates’ degree or similar accounting coursework is strongly preferred. Must have competencies in basic accounting principles and practice and an understanding of general ledger administration.
This role is much more than data entry alone. Responsibilities include: process accounts payable invoices, ensure the proper documentation for payment authorization, prepare and process weekly EFT/check runs, assist in general ledger closing, troubleshoot issues and invalid transactions, prepare special schedules associated with period end closings, , prepare and file annual 1099 forms, primary on all vendor relations, records and account maintenance and performs special assignments and other accounting support as directed by the Accounting Supervisor or Chief Financial Officer.
