NFI North, Inc. is seeking a 1st shift Direct Care Counselor for our 8 bed THS Manchester position. This program is a residential treatment and day program with a reputation of providing comprehensive clinical, nursing, medical, case management, vocational, educational and peer support services and life skills to adults living with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI).
Responsibilities: Supervise the daily activities of participants, providing ongoing support, guidance and role modeling. Facilitate participant improvement in the areas of personal responsibility, social skills, medication monitoring and administration, community living skills and behavior.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and/or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with client population.
