What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loader/Unloader position at NFI Industries?
The Loader/Unloader will manually, or by hand truck, move materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places in the facility.
Shift/s: Monday-Friday 6a-2p, Tuesday-Saturday 6a-2p
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Set up dock door for spotter to bring trailer in
Pattern load in system
Secure trailer once in dock door (stand, dock plate, dock lock, etc.)
Unhook trailer once loading is complete
Inflate air bags as needed
Locate and install bulkheads for loads as needed
Performs other related task to keep work area safe, clean and organized
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of weight.
Must be able to reach, push, pull, bend, walk and stand.
Must be able to operate a golf cart to transport materials and travel through facility
Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
Experience, Education, and Training:
Attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills
