VP of Business Development
Cultivate strategic growth objectives and drive business expansion in the live event ticketing industry. Foster expertise on market dynamics, leveraging analytics to inform data-driven decisions and optimize sales/marketing efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
- Partner with CEO & senior leadership to define growth objectives & KPIs for inventory expansion & niche product growth.
- Become an internal expert on the live event ticketing industry and the company's unique value proposition.
- Develop metrics to assess sales, marketing, and partnership performance, driving efficiency through data-driven decision-making & accountability.
- Collaborate with product & client-facing teams to identify opportunities for direct & indirect top-line growth.
- Negotiate & secure partnerships with primary ticket sellers & data providers, integrating their feeds into our exchange via APIs.
- Onboard, manage, & nurture relationships with partners, ensuring ongoing collaboration & data quality.
- Manage pipeline, forecasting, & meet/exceed set sales targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technical teams for timely, effective integrations.
- Create a growth playbook for gaining product market share.
- Develop & implement comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance product visibility & adoption.
