Enterprise Data Solutions Business Development Manager (BDM)
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Enterprise Data Solutions Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth through external integrations, partnerships with primary data providers, and expansion of our data solutions offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market and Sell Access to Our Data Solutions:
- Develop and implement strategies to promote and sell access to our suite of enterprise data solutions, including Seatics.
- Identify potential clients and partners who can benefit from our data offerings.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value and capabilities of our data solutions.
- Negotiate terms and close deals to drive revenue growth.
- Track pipeline, forecast revenue, and manage key accounts to ensure business growth.
- Participate in industry events, webinars, and conferences to build brand visibility and foster lead generation.
- Act as a liaison between prospects/customers and product teams, gathering feedback to inform API roadmaps and improvements.
- Integrate Publicly Available Data Sources:
- Research and identify publicly available data solutions (e.g., Spotify, ESPN, Sportradar) that can enhance the data on our exchange.
- Assess the feasibility and potential impact of integrating these data solutions into our platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute the integration of selected data sources.
- Establish Partnerships with Primary Data Providers:
- Identify and approach primary sellers and data providers relevant to our industry.
- Negotiate and secure agreements to incorporate their data feeds into our exchange through their APIs.
- Manage and nurture relationships with these partners to ensure ongoing collaboration and data quality.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of data solutions, APIs, and their applications in enhancing digital platforms.
- Knowledge of API management platforms (e.g., WS02, Apigee) and API-related security and data privacy standards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and research skills to identify potential data integrations and partners.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including technical and marketing departments.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and close deals.

Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, preferably with a focus on data solutions or technology products.
