Role Description
The Bill of Material Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate bills of materials (BOMs) to support the production process at Nexus RV. Daily responsibilities include analyzing material requirements, managing material data, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring inventory accuracy. The role also entails reviewing and updating BOMs as needed, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes, and resolving material discrepancies. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Elkhart, IN.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to review data and ensure precision in material listings and inventory control
- Proficiency in material handling and materials management to optimize production operations
- Experience in inventory control and materials tracking to maintain appropriate stock levels
- Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Proficiency with inventory software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
