Job Summary
Nexus Courier Solutions is seeking dependable, professional, and customer-focused independent drivers to provide timely and accurate small parcel deliveries. Drivers will safely transport packages to residential and commercial customers while maintaining excellent customer service and meeting delivery deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver small parcels on assigned routes.
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently.
- Follow designated delivery schedules and optimize routes.
- Verify delivery information and obtain signatures when required.
- Maintain communication with dispatch regarding route status and delays.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety standards.
- Report any delivery issues, accidents, or vehicle concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required documentation
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record with proof of current auto insurance
- Reliable personal vehicle in good operating condition.
- Smartphone with GPS and internet access.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to pass a background check (if required).
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Frequently walking, bending, lifting, and climbing stairs

Independent Contractor Notice
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Drivers are responsible for providing and maintaining their own vehicle, valid driver's license, vehicle registration, insurance, and any other equipment necessary to perform delivery services.
