About the Opportunity
Our nonprofit client is seeking a reliable and personable Temporary Membership Renewal Representative to assist with a short-term outreach project. This role is focused on contacting members whose memberships have lapsed and encouraging them to renew their membership.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking with people, is comfortable making outbound calls, and can efficiently work through a high-volume contact list.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to approximately 1,500 lapsed members
- Inform members of their membership status and renewal options
- Answer basic questions regarding membership benefits and renewal processes
- Accurately document call outcomes and member responses
- Maintain a professional and positive experience with every interaction
- Work through assigned call lists in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, call center, or membership outreach experience preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls
- Professional, friendly, and persistent demeanor
- Strong organizational and data-entry skills
- Ability to work independently and stay focused throughout the project
