Project Architect
Location: Southeast U.S. (Hybrid)
A growing multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm is seeking a licensed Project Architect to lead a diverse portfolio of building projects from design through construction.
This role offers significant project ownership, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to mentor junior team members while growing into a senior leadership position.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from design development through construction administration.
- Prepare and coordinate construction documents, specifications, and technical details.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors.
- Perform quality reviews and support code compliance and permitting.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, site observations, and project closeout.
- Mentor and support junior architectural staff.
Qualifications
- Licensed Architect (or eligible for reciprocal licensure).
- 4 years of architectural experience.
- Strong Revit/BIM and AutoCAD proficiency.
- Experience with construction documents and construction administration.
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
- Ability to satisfy project eligibility requirements when applicable.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with commercial, institutional, healthcare, education, civic, or complex building projects.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
