Health & Safety Specialist
We are seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to support health, safety, and compliance initiatives across field operations and job sites. This position will work closely with field employees, supervisors, project teams, and leadership to promote safe work practices and help maintain a proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities
- Support company health and safety programs, procedures, and training initiatives
- Assist with jobsite safety inspections, hazard identification, and corrective actions
- Support compliance with OSHA and other applicable safety requirements
- Assist with incident, injury, and near-miss documentation and follow-up
- Coordinate and track employee safety training and certifications
- Help prepare site-specific health and safety plans and related documentation
- Partner with supervisors, project teams, and field employees to reinforce safe work practices
- Maintain accurate safety records, inspection documentation, and training information
- Support safety orientations, refresher training, and job-specific safety requirements
- Provide field safety support across various projects and operations
- Assist with continuous improvement of safety programs and processes
Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting health and safety programs, field operations, construction, environmental services, industrial services, remediation, or a related environment preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Construction Management, Industrial Safety, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements and general workplace safety practices
- HAZWOPER experience or certification is a plus
- OSHA 30, confined space, respiratory protection, DOT, or related safety experience is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with both field employees and leadership
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
- Ability to travel occasionally for jobsite support, training, or project needs
