Sr. UX Designer (5743)

NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our client’s team in Reading, PA. This is a Onsite, Contract To Hire position.

SALARY: $48-66/hour (depending on experience).

Requirements

• 3 years of proven UX design experience across complex systems and multiple platforms, including web and mobile
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, InVision, or similar
• Experience creating sketches, storyboards, wireframes, sitemaps, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes
• Knowledge of usability heuristics, accessibility standards, and mobile/native platform guidelines (iOS/Android)
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field; Master’s preferred
  
  

Responsibilities

• Lead UX design for web, mobile, and SaaS platforms, ensuring usability, accessibility, and interaction best practices
• Conduct user research, including interviews, contextual inquiries, and usability testing to gather insights
• Translate research, business requirements, and system assessments into effective design solutions
• Create sketches, wireframes, prototypes, sitemaps, workflows, and documentation with minimal oversight
• Develop and maintain UX research scripts, usability testing plans, and reports
• Facilitate UX workshops and co-creation sessions with stakeholders
• Present research findings and design concepts clearly to product, engineering, and business teams
• Mentor and guide junior UX/UI designers to foster a culture of learning and excellence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions are feasible and aligned with product strategy
• Stay current with emerging UX/UI trends, methodologies, and technologies, recommending improvements
• Address design challenges holistically, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
