Enterprise Data Engineer (5749)

NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Data Engineer to join our client’s team in Worcester, MA. This is a hybrid, direct hire position.

SALARY: $120,000 – $150,000 (depending on experience)

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, or Business Intelligence
• Advanced SQL skills, including designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex queries
• Experience developing enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI or similar BI platforms
• Experience working with cloud-based enterprise applications and data services (Microsoft Azure preferred)
• Proficiency with data pipeline and transformation tools (e.g., Databricks, Fivetran, dbt)
• Knowledge of enterprise data modeling and designing data warehouses, data lakes, or modern analytical platforms
• Experience implementing data quality, governance, and validation processes
• Experience developing data transformation and automation solutions using Python
• Ability to integrate enterprise applications like ERP, CRM, and HRIS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Dayforce)
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and modern data integration methods
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment
  
  

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise data pipelines supporting ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other systems
• Create reliable, scalable datasets for reporting, analytics, and BI initiatives
• Design and improve data models to enable accurate and timely reporting
• Build and maintain integrations between enterprise applications via APIs and database connections
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and consistency
• Support enterprise system implementations, migrations, and acquisitions through data mapping and transformation
• Monitor and enhance data quality, governance, and documentation across data sources
• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration, transformation, and reporting issues
• Partner with various teams to deliver scalable data solutions to support decision-making
• Ensure data solutions comply with security, privacy, and regulatory standards
