Workday Payroll Testing Coordinator (5236)

NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Workday Payroll Testing Coordinator to join our client’s team in Chicago, IL or Houston,TX. This is a Hybrid, Contract position.

SALARY: $50-53/hr (depending on experience)

Requirements

• 5 years Multi-State (USA) payroll processing
• Testing to Implementation – A MUST
• Coordinating simulation and parallel payroll cycles
• Excel/Smartsheet skills (build dashboards)
• Payroll full-life cycle testing required
• Create Test Scripts and Data Sets from scratch
• Workday Payroll certification is a plus
  
  

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all payroll simulation and parallel testing cycles (data sets, pay periods, validations)
• Liaise with Payroll Ops, Finance, Integration, and Testing teams to ensure scenario readiness
• Track completion of test executions, reconciliation results, defect trends and readiness metrics
• Work with leadership to develop a dashboard for key indicators and readiness status
• Support test defect resolution, risk escalation and readiness gating
