Epic Application Analyst – Willow Ambulatory (5259)

NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Epic Application Analyst- Willow Ambulatory to join our client’s team in Tampa, Florida. This is a Remote, Contract to hire position.

SALARY: $75-$83/hr (depending on experience)

Requirements

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Epic certification required upon hire or within six months.
• Experience in healthcare or supporting technology systems (2 years), or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong communication, critical thinking, and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
• Preferred experience in inpatient, ancillary, ambulatory, or revenue cycle healthcare settings.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Understand user workflows across inpatient, ancillary, ambulatory, or revenue cycle areas and translate those needs into system requirements.
• Design, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain applications while documenting requirements, workflows, and customizations.
• Coordinate and participate in all testing phases during implementations and upgrades, ensuring smooth go-live support—including off-hours coverage.
• Research and resolve system issues by collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
• Lead small to mid-sized projects with minimal supervision, developing project plans, testing strategies, and go-live documentation.
• Participate in cross-training to maintain secondary support coverage and expand application expertise.
